WHY INDUS VALLEY
Iron Kadai by The Indus Valley is a great solution to boost your hemoglobin level. Since it is made of 100% natural material, it will enrich the food with iron content by default. Not only will this kadai make any dish nutritious but also tastier and require less oil than the non-stick cookware. The kadai comes with 2 steel handles, has a flat bottom and pre-seasoned with edible oil. It is perfect for making gravies, frying, roasting and many more cooking varieties.
Care & Maintenance
Since the new Iron Kadai comes pre-seasoned, it would need gentle cleaning initially. Use mild liquid dishwashing detergent to clean and then wipe dry with a soft cloth.
Apply any cooking oil and heat the pan over a gas flame for 20 mins. After it cools completely, wipe off excess oil, if any.
Repeat this process several times before you start using the pan. This will be useful to get the desired cooking results.
Always store your iron fry pan in a dry place after cleaning and seasoning.
Avoid leaving the paniyaram pan soaked in water for long. Cleaning the pan immediately after its use is highly recommended.
Does it have a Naturally non-stick finish?
Yes, all our cast iron products are pre seasoned which makes the product non stick while cooking.
Is the black color on the pan normal?
The black oil is supposedly the seasoning oil which is completely harmless. Frequent cooking and treating of the products might make the oil disappear

Is it easy to maintain Iron products?
Yes, use mild liquid soap to clean the pan and scrub them with a soft scrubber. Rinse and thoroughly dry the Cast iron pan with paper towels and rub a very light layer of cooking oil.

Tasty-cast iron gives the traditional rustic taste to your food. It requires very less oil to cook. You deserve tasty and healthy food every day.; Food Safe – Avoids exposure to nasty chemicals present in typical non-stick pans, which emit toxic fumes when overheated and contain perfluorocarbons (pfc). These chemicals are associated with developmental problems, liver damage, cancer, and early menopause.
Use & Care – Once you received your kadai, clean it completely using mild liquid/water and pat dry using a soft cloth. Then apply cooking oil all over a surface and leave it for 6 hours. And then heat the kadai under medium flame for 5 mins. After 5 mins, switch it off and let it cool down completely. Repeat the process for 3- 4 times before starting to cook to get your desired result. On further usage, it becomes non-sticky and your food will taste the best.
Cleaning use a soft scrubber to clean your kadai. Apply oil and store it in a dry place.
